I need a podiatrist. The advantage of having a podiatrist calling round is (a) cutting my toenails, because I can’t reach them because of neurological problems and (b) she can do routine diabetic neuropathy checks, not that have any diabetes complications.

Mind you, it’s difficult doing that job and maintaining a 2m safe distance. Maybe she could use lawn edging shears.

I suppose if you were very tall and you laid down on the floor the 2 metre distance would be nearly achievable - from your face anyway, and this is the danger area.

Not that I think your face is a danger area you understand .

Just so that everyone can relax, the podiatrist arrived today, bedecked in the usual plastic apron and surgical gloves, with the addition of a mask, and carried out the necessary reduction of toenail length, sanded and polished and skin cream massaged into my feet. No need to treat any hard skin because I don’t have any. Hard skin is caused by walking, which I don’t do. Well, hardly any, as my watch keeps telling me.
