Her home was damaged during storm Harvey, but she, her hubby and pets are safe .
She has a lot to deal with at moment but is o.k.

Hi Folks,

Merry Christmas!

I miss you all very much. I didn't realize I would be away from the Forum long enough for anyone to notice I was MIA. Not that I am really needed much, but I so enjoy feeling as if I can be a help.

Sasha mentioned there were some questions and that she had reassured folks that I was still among the land of the living. I didn't expect to see a post with my name on it. Brought tears to my eyes.

My dogs come home tomorrow. It took a while to get a new fence. Less than a week before we got the fence back, I accidentally stepped into a post hole, so I may be in an air cast for Christmas. I am actually very lucky nothing is broken, but it still hurts.

I saw a new "world renowned" pancreas specialist. He brought up TPAIT. I am not sure how I feel about that possibility, but not sure what kind of options I realistically have at this point. If I have insurance coverage I need to think seriously about going through with it. It's much easier to find coverage for Diabetes than for TPAIT. It's just so final.

Well, I am at a family function, so I had better put away the technology.

Great to hear from you Sassy and fab that you are getting your dogs back home.

However, not great to put your foot in the hole :shock: :shock: . As an older, allegedly wiser person can I advise you don’t do that again? :roll: :roll:

Interesting on the TPAIT. Definitely an option but as you say - it needs some thought -its a biggy!

Hi Sassy and so nice to hear from you!

Not so good about stepping in the hole - I assume that's filled with fence now and you can't do it again! Great that you're getting your dogs back.

TPAIT is a big thing to think about, especially with the insurance issues on top. I know it's been an amazing thing for some people on here, but a big decision for you.

Merry Christmas to you too. Xx It's really only just hit me how little time there is to go and how much still to do!
