Nice to see a post from you Sassy and to hear some good things happening, but unfortunately some not so good. I hope your foot doesn't cause you too much pain over the festive period. Do have a look into 'the big op', as I call it. It seems the younger you are the better chances of there being many more islet cells that can be harvested. Plus they are becoming very expert at the operation over in the USA, though you still have to weigh up the cons too and think very seriously about it as it is a very major operation. There is a Facebook group that is for those who have had the op or thinking about it, and they seem quite optimistic on the whole.

Hi guys!

I had three full hours without fever.

Things are much better now. No more chest burning coughing fits which feels like your lungs are coming out. No more congestion clogging my nose. Just fever and anorexia left over.

Amazingly, I barely noticed my feet hurting after the flu.

I am so glad to have my babies home and safe.

It is super cold for Texas right now. We have icicles and I love it. No snow, but that just keeps these weather virgins safe.

It has been several months since I went off antidepressants. Some good things and some not so good. Maybe more on that later.

Definitely a lot to deal with in the coming months, but I hope to do a better job being here. I have definitely missed everyone. Lots to catch up with...

Hi there Sassy. I answered your flu post first, so won't repeat that, but happy to see you. I know there is a lot of bad weather with you just now so stay indoors!

Had a long email from Sassy. She, like us, continuing the struggle with cp. Plus, very, very busy with the house. Still waiting for new roof after storm Harvey!

Will do paul. Think she's off forum as she is really tired a lot. Some good news is, she has found a new doctor who she has some faith in.
