Its 5 years today that my pancreas tried to finish me off . Just thought I would share that useless information .

Well it isn't useless Paul, we all have similar anniversaries, though maybe not quite so bad. Just glad we are around to 'celebrate' them.

10yrs since having 1/2 of mine removed and my HBa1C test last week showed that I'm not quite diabetic (46).

That seems fair enough, Stu. At that rate of deterioration from time of the op, the chances are you won't get clinically significant diabetes till you are pushing up daisies, specially if you stick to a low carb diet.
