Just noticed there is a health warning for those with lung problems from Defra for the south about a Toxic Cloud heading our way will last from Thursday till Sunday .
Another reason to move to Scotland , free prescriptions ,cleaner air and Nicola Sturgeon far easier on the eye than Cameron/Corbyn .

Cleaner air in Scotland Paul?
In a couple of weeks here in the highlands the midges will emerge from their underground lairs to torment tourists in clouds of nasty biting vindictiveness.
But don't let that put you off....

There is a downside to everything.
We could always register residency at Mike's address, claim free prescriptions and yet stay in civilisation.
What do you think Mike?

Brilliant idea Stu - though the authorities just might catch on with a couple of hundred people living in a two bedroom cottage...

Cheaper car insurance as well, if we all go up, imagine how drugged up the midges be.
Toxic cloud

I thought someone was having Creon trouble

I have often wondered why my blood doesn't kill mosquitoes, or at least cause them to stagger around a bit and start looking for snacks.
Sometimes it is odd to realize my pharmaceuticals keep me safe, sane, and as normal as possible, but taken by a healthy individual, those same pharmaceuticals would kill.
Anyone else ever wonder about what our normal would do to the normal?

It's only the females that bite. I make that comment without any other implication or meaning.
Mike
PS One of the above sentences is true.

Aye, you do. But I wouldn't come up here if I were you cos I've been spraying hepatotoxic chemicals around the house to slay all the midges that the gardener disturbed cutting the grass.
Midges are one of the creatures, along with tapeworms, that are powerful evidence of the non-existence of a benign divine creator. So are the Welsh, come to think...

What's wrong with the Welsh apart from hating the English .
