Nowhere in those guidelines is information about folk like me - with chronic pancreatitis, but with no pain and no history of pain. Just as well I could self diagnose steatorrhoea. Surely I’m not unique.

I haven’t had the chance to discuss CP with my new doctor, but I suppose I ought to mention screening for cancer. Plus I’m a bit late for my biennial colonoscopy for bowel cancer, with my history of ulcerative colitis. It’s hard to keep up, with all these neurological tests coming up.

Comorbidity, multimorbidity, Chronic Pancreatitis .................. it's just a label, at the end of the day, it is about treating the symptoms.
