Re: Bank scam
BT Openreach seems to be a leaky security company. I had genuine problems with my broadband, phoned the ever helpful Plusnet who arranged for an Openreach engineer to call, who fixed everything. Since then, I’ve had an array of calls, all hilariously amateurish, to tell me that my internet service w...

Re: Chinese Virus
Mine aren’t. A diabetes nurse once told me I have lovely feet. They certainly don’t look 67 years old, even if the rest of me does.

Re: Chinese Virus
Just so that everyone can relax, the podiatrist arrived today, bedecked in the usual plastic apron and surgical gloves, with the addition of a mask, and carried out the necessary reduction of toenail length, sanded and polished and skin cream massaged into my feet. No need to treat any hard skin bec...

Re: Life as a GP practice manager
Don’t know about NHS inefficiency. I had a diabetic consultant appointment over the phone a couple of weeks ago which was very productive. I’ve just received a letter for a neurology appointment at the Walton Centre in Liverpool. That’s a video appointment - I’ll use my computer to access that, I’ve...

I suppose if you were very tall and you laid down on the floor the 2 metre distance would be nearly achievable - from your face anyway, and this is the danger area. Not that I think your face is a danger area you understand  . Hugs Jane xx If I laid down on the floor an ambulance would have ...

Well, Saxie, you may not be a fan of your prime minister but the rest of the world is slack-jawed about the efficacy of her actions, and you are now free of lockdown. Shows how it should be done to the goons in our country. Nanny state? Just be grateful. Pain in the arse, but necessary.

Re: Chinese Virus
I need a podiatrist. The advantage of having a podiatrist calling round is (a) cutting my toenails, because I can’t reach them because of neurological problems and (b) she can do routine diabetic neuropathy checks, not that have any diabetes complications. Mind you, it’s difficult doing that job and...

Don’t know about your risk doubling, Jane, if I were a coronavirus I wouldn’t dare infect you for fear of reprisals and scorn.
