Re: Alan's blog........

Marilyn certainly thinks those in their 50's are youngsters :? . After all, her eldest son is turning 50 in November  Marilyn is very grateful to have been able to reach 70+, but now wants to go cry in a corner. Marilyn will give due consideration, and she has plenty of time to duly consider,...

Re: Alan's blog........

Marilyn has decided this is the time to allow her hair to grow out to its natural colour. Though from what Marilyn has already seen of said natural colour, it is pretty horrible and she is not looking forward to seeing her whole head of hair looking anything like that. But she realises she can't pre...

Re: Life as a GP practice manager

Maybe soon we will be able to report such situations. But would we? We have a chiropractor who lives almost opposite us. Only mention his profession as shows he is not dumb . Not the friendliest family at all, and not too thoughtful of others, even prior to the virus. They have 2 children, boy...

Re: My face

Sounds like a reaction to moisturiser or makeup. Have you changed anything recently? ? I did wonder that at first as I do get facial issues, but I am sure it is just because I know I shouldn't be touching my face. I am getting better at 'grinning and bearing' it though  . I never knew how much...

Re: Chinese Virus

Difficult decisions for many just now Paul. Who knew, even a few weeks ago, that we would be having to be making such tough ones. I guess at least we have the option, there are many who don't. But if we all do what we are told to, or what we should, then we will flatten the curve and help the NHS. F...

Re: Chinese Virus

Good idea Paul. I think the 'rule' is that you can work if you practice social distancing, but work from home if you possibly can. Well you can't do that  But, very sensible to stay home if you can manage, at least till there is more information for you. It is hard for the self employed and b...

Re: Chinese Virus

Still out and in groups after both Boris's and Nicola's speeches? What stupid people. By the way, hardly any need to do any ironing with not going out or having visitors to impress. I'm finally cutting down to hardly any ironing. And what I do iron is just my minor OCD at needing certain arti...

You were okay being in the garden, as long as you were 2m away from your mum. No rules broken.

Yes, I believe our surgery door is locked. But now I know what they are doing behind them! Thank you Jane and all working in such situations.

Re: Alan's blog........

Sadly there really are people out there who think it is a scam by pharmaceutical companies. Mostly some Americans.
