Just thought I would ask and spread the news about GINGER biscuits.

Has anyone else found how wonderful Mcvities Ginger biscuits are ? other brands are available, although I can't speak for them .

I have been able to eat these since having my attack in June last year.
Now I don't pig out on them but when fruit is not enough ( was a terrible smoker) they are wonderful . No pancreon is needed , I can usually get away with up to five without a pill and no side effects . The other great thing about them is they are NAUGHTY in a world of low fat diets . I like to think they help with the weight gain! Hahaha

So there's my trivia for the week but I claim no medical wonders and if trying be careful, I am not responsible for your internals .

But ooooow they are great ! :D

Sounds good Simon but at 1.7gms of fat per biscuit 5 would be to many for me.

:)

They are good if you are nauseated. I used to eat them all the time when i was pregnant, they stopped the morning sickness in its tracks  .

I did wonder whether they would be helpful for nausea so might get a packet in. I will have to be very strict though. I munch on Rich Tea fingers at the moment and can really overdo it.

Sorry about the downer, but Rich Tea biscuits are well known for causing indigestion pain if to many are eaten at one time.

:(

I only eat the fingers Stu!!! I have never had indigestion pain fortunately. Used to get loads of heartburn in the years before and up to my AP attack but only a couple of minor problems with it since. It was the total fat content with the Rich Tea Fingers I was worried about actually but you have now given me another reason to stop eating them. I wonder why those biscuits in particular can cause indigestion.

Yes, a good question, but if you are happy with your fingers, then that is all that matters. :)
